We’re all born with curiosity and imagination, driving us to explore the unknown. Inside every young mind is a relentless drive to ask, imagine and create. This is the heart of science.
In today’s hyper-speed world, there’s an urgent need to nurture young students with science and math education. It’s astonishing to note that with the amount of cutting edge technology we use, the United States actually lags behind many other nations in the numbers of professionals qualified for technology related positions.
The Connecticut Science Center’s aim is to inspire the next generation of scientists and creative thinkers who will impact our future, from curing diseases to saving the environment.
With an attraction of this magnitude, exhibits rivaling the most unique in the world, programs with the potential to become national models, and corporate involvement from global business leaders and influential benefactors, the prospects are here for Connecticut to position itself for the future as “The Science State.”
The Center has the potential to be the place that first motivates a student’s dream to become a doctor, engineer, teacher or inventor. It’s our dream to make their dreams come true, and we need your help. The Campaign for the Connecticut Science Center represents a unique opportunity for you to invest in a project that will truly enhance the lives of children and families across our region.
The Campaign is now in its “Final Mile.” This $165 million effort continues to raise funds to construct, equip, operate and sustain a premier science education destination. This is your opportunity to show your support, and though the Center is less than $5 million from its goal, your help is needed now more than ever to ensure success.
