Connecticut Science Fair

Location: Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT

The Connecticut Science Fair is supported by academic and industrial organizations throughout the state. An important objective of the program is to attract young people to careers in science while developing skills essential to critical thinking. Through science fair participation, students are encouraged to pursue independent work using proper research methods. The Fair is open to students in grades 7 through 12 and held at Quinnipiac University.

The fair has two major divisions, the Pfizer Life Sciences and the Connecticut Center for Science & Exploration Physical Sciences. There are also special fair categories including: Applied Technology with Support from Barnes Aerospace; ATOMIC Mathematics Awards with Support from Webster Bank; Computer Science Awards with Support from Canberra Industries;  Audubon Connecticut/Arch Chemicals Environmental Science Awards  Environmental Awards; and The United Technologies Corporation Special Awards
